Dear ACEC/CT Members,
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Connecticut (ACEC-CT), is a pivotal organization dedicated to the advancement and advocacy of consulting engineering firms within our great state.
We are proud to represent 75 engineering firms in Connecticut. Through our affiliation with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the 55,000+ members nationwide, our reach as an industry is even greater. This extensive network allows us to facilitate connections, foster innovation, and advocate for the engineering profession at all levels of government and business.
To our members, your dedication to excellence and innovation continues to drive the success of our organization. We remain committed to supporting you through advocacy, professional development opportunities, and recognition programs like the Annual Engineering Excellence Awards. Membership in ACEC/CT is open to all firms (corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, etc.) furnishing independent consulting engineering services.
Firms must:
Membership in the American Consulting Engineers Council is required prior to joining ACEC/CT.
Firms must:
- Have an office in the state
- Have at least one principal licensed as a Professional Engineer by the State of Connecticut,
- Practice under an organizational arrangement that does not involve a conflict of interest or that does not subordinate independent professional judgment, and
- Agree to abide by the ACEC Professional and Ethical Conduct Guidelines.
Membership in the American Consulting Engineers Council is required prior to joining ACEC/CT.
